authentic connection.

relationship counseling.

Our intimate relationships directly impact our wellbeing. Whether you are seeking to feel more connected with your partner(s) or perhaps looking to end the partnership, relationship counseling holds many benefits in supporting your authentic relational needs.

In my work with intimate partnerships, I utilize Socio-Emotional Relationship Therapy (SERT) which emphasizes movement towards relational equity, mutuality, and care. I pull from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to facilitate honest emotional expression and deeper security within you relationship.  I orient experientially to relationship counseling, meaning that in our sessions I will guide you to notice how you and your partner(s) are engaging in the present moment - we will track the challenging patterns that unfold between you, and practice new ways of engaging to support your healthful relationship.

I have experience guiding partnerships through:

Relationship communication skills
Navigating consensual nonmonogamy
Opening or closing the relationship
Identifying & expressing needs, desires, and emotions
Creating boundaries
Sexual concerns
Identifying & shifting cycles of conflict
Desire differences within partnerships
Conflict resolution & repair
Ending the relationship
